  1. "we are malleable," and that's what it's all about right? that we can change, adapt, grow, embrace as much as we want. thanks, amy girl. and my goodness, that first drawing of violet is GORGEOUS. (btw, i was laughing hysterically about your chinese new year comment on my blog. loved loved it. though, hey, what's wrong with being a horse;)) also, also, i've made massive changes to book. so if you haven't gotten that far, don't get much further. it's different now. and shoot. this should have been an email, not a blog comment. all other non-amy readers, just lob off all the sentences that come after GORGEOUS.

    1. @Corrie: Thank you, thank you! Re: being a horse- I would love to be a horse. The description suits me better than the rabbit (my sign). Annalee is the horse and she breaks my heart because she hates horses. How can you hate horses (unless of course you've been trampled by them and they've broken all of your bones and you can never dance again)? I want to read the massive changes to your book! Send them to me when you are ready. And to anyone who is reading this comment after reading Corrie's comment- Corrie is an amazing fabulous writer and you should all visit her blog for a fresh perspective on life and for progress reports on her YA novel: http://corriewachob.blogspot.com/

    1. Jen, thank you, as always. I really hope that you are feeling better- that the flu and the funk has flown. It is a really funky time of year- and, I don't mean the get down and get groovy kind of funky. Hang in there, friend.
